This trip showed me soooo much more than little Kansas does. my favorite part of the trip was probably either the fireworks or the navy pier. the sessions that we listened in on taught me and the rest of the peole that went from abilene about becoming a bigger leo's club and expanding our membership. the many ideas that people said have brought ideas to our minds and to our club. hopefully we can get those ideas rolling and get our club going. the view that we saw from the hancock observatory was amazing yet a little nauseous! i met lots of people who became my close friends by the end of the trip. i met some extremly funny people that made the trip sooo much more enjoyable and tonja and the rest of the advisors were awesome! attached are some pictures that we took and of the AMAZING time that we had!!

Chicago has taken on a new meaning for me - friends, fun and many new experiences. Nothing that could have ever been done in Kansas. The trip was truly amazing!! The LEO sessions shed new light for ideas, the opening session for LIONS along with the flag ceremony was inspiring, and the extra curricular activities that Tonja planned were fantastic. I witnessed first hand that the kids on this trip have great potential. I am so looking forward to making the trip to Minneapolis in two years with as many of these kids/advisors as possible. There just isn't enough space to share everything from this trip. Thanks to all who made this trip possible for us and for the memories and friendships that were made. I encourage each one of you to keep in touch and hopefully get together more often.

One of my most favorite things about Chicago was getting lost. There's nothing like a great panic attack while your getting mugged. That never happened but that would of made it better. Something that did happen was that we missed the train back to the fire works on July 3rd and had a security women gave 8 people a ride back in a minni van. It was a bit crowded. Then once we got there we couldn't find the group... but eventually we did and we got to watch about 4 minutes of fireworks.
