Ice-breakers and Team Building Games - Starting out with an icebreaker activity and interspersing other fun and active games throughout the day help keep the kids entertained and energized. They also promote interaction between members of different clubs. Leo Skit - This short, simple skit is designed for Lions and prospective Leos to share what Leos is all about and some of the benefits; recommended that this is followed up by a Q and A session where Lions can learn from the Leos what the benefits of sponsoring a Leo club are Leo PR - Leo clubs are encouraged to set up display tables with pictures, 3-sided boards, scrapbooks, etc illustrating their many activities Leo Seminars - Just as Lions need information and assistance, Leo clubs also benefit from workshops on PR, effective meetings, membership growth, fundraising, and effective projects. The KEY is for these workshops to be interactive and kid-focused. They should NOT be passive, lecture-type presentations. Special Service Project - Kansas Leo tradition is to conduct service projects at special events. These might range from Lion projects like sorting eyeglasses to working at a local charity, food pantry, etc. Special Fundraising - Leos may be encouraged to hold raffles, etc to raise funds for a special trip or cause. Hospitality Room - It is advisable to have plenty of snacks and a place and time for Leos to socialize informally. If Leos are allowed to use the Lions hospitality room, it should be made clear to all that they are welcomed, and the Leos should be advised to bring items to contribute to the hospitality room.
