A Note From the Webmaster

Dear Leos, Lions, and guests,

Welcome to the brand new Kansas Leo Clubs Website! You are looking at a completely new format that was concieved and built only a month before State convention. It has been a hasty designing process, but I hope that you will enjoy it. Special thanks to Lion and State Chair Tonja Wienck for indulging me with the information that I so fervently needed to get this thing started while she was swamped with other, more important, tasks.

But the real reason that I'm writing this little note is because I can't do this by myself. Tonja will back me up on this, but we need your input. In other words, SEND US YOUR NEWS! On the homepage, to the left, there is a menu for this site. Way at the bottom of the list is a button that says "Submit News." This is a multi-purpose feature. It can be used to submit minutes from you last club meeting, to send us information about past events that your Leos attended, or just drop us a line about upcoming events in your district. You can also email this information and pictures to either Tonja or myself.

Oh yeah, pictures.

This is where I'm going to get cliche: While submitting news is great, a picture is worth a thousand words. A new page to this newly unveiled design is a Pictures page, which, as of this writing, is very blank. Please send us your pictures. (Don't worry, we will not use any last names for your privacy.)

Another way you can contribute to this Website is our newly created Blogs feature. At various events we will be looking for Leos (or even their sponsors, should they feel so inclined) to write a blog about that event. I will be at both State and International convention, ready to get this blog going. It will include written reports and pictures from the event. Please talk to me or Tonja at these events if you would like to write about the past day(s).

Finally, if you've noticed any other portions of this site that are inconsistant or incomplete, please do not hesitate to let me know. Like I said earlier, this site was slapped together in less than a month, so there are parts that are not finished.

I hope you enjoy the newly designed Kansas Leo Clubs Website, and have a great summer!
